POSITIONERS

To get proven cost savings, safer and higher quality welds, consider a Pandjiris positioner. It is a fact that in most cases a Pandjiris positioner will pay for itself in a year or less and many are still hard at work after 20 plus years of service Pandjiris positioners are typically designed with a square table -- round is also available -- with 4 to 8 T slots and through-holes. The table rotates 360 degrees and has tilt capabilities through 135 degrees. TURNING ROLLS

If you have a cylindrical part -- Pandjiris Turning Rolls are an economical and safe way to position them. Pandjiris has five basic styles of turning rolls to accommodate parts weighing 1,000 pounds and up with diameters from 1" and up. Typical standard units are manufactured to accommodate as large a cylinder as 240,000 tons, 21 feet in diameter. Others have been designed to accommodate parts well over a 1,000,000 pounds. Pipers and Tankers all have several common features. These 3 styles are friction driven with the exception of the Super Piper which is a direct drive unit. They all maintain a constant center line and require no adjustments for varying tank diameters.

MANIPULATORS

Pandjiris manipulators are ideal for circumferential or longitudinal welds of great length. They are adaptable to reach inside of small internal diameters for welding both longitudinal and circumferentials joints. Exceptionally good for high quality continuous welds, manipulators are the most versatile of all positioning equipment. Control of boom stroke, travel car and torch positioning can be accomplished automatically or semi-automatically for varying degrees of automation. Pandjiris engineers have created 5 axis of automated motion control with modification to the boom end on standard Pandjiris manipulators. Total motion control is obtainable through programmable controls.

MANIPULATOR TRAVEL CARS

Pandjiris offers two styles of Manipulator Travel Cars. They include a manual push car and a series of variable speed travel cars. The manual car rides on an inverted angle "V" track. The powered cars ride on machined rail track. The weight and gauge width of the machined rail tracks vary depending on the load capacity required.

EXTERNAL SEAMERS

For over 40 years Pandjiris has manufactured an extensive line of seamers. Internal or external welds utilizing any weld process can be performed by these seamers on flat, square, cone, bowed, or round work pieces. Vertical, plasma, and other special seamers are also available. Pandjiris has a seamer to meet every requirement as demonstrated by the construction of the world's largest (45 foot) cantilevered seamer. No one makes them heavier or larger.

INTERNAL/FLATSHEET SEAMERS

Special options and features make Pandjiris Seamers the leaders in seam welding innovation. All Pandjiris Seamers have: special proprietary features that will reduce or eliminate arc blow, heavy duty adjustable side beam tracks, modular variable speed carriages that are field upgradeable.

SIDEBEAMS & CARRIAGES

Pandjiris Variable Speed Carriages are heavy duty travel carriages capable of supporting substantial loads at specified distances from the faceplate. Variable travel speeds from 3 to 116 IPM are standard on models VSC-15-3 and VSC-21-12. The Model VSC-40-12 carriage is equipped to deliver travel speed from 6 to 180 IPM. Carriages use a rack and pinion drive system equipped with controls for Poer On/Off Swith and Light, Auto /Manual Switch and Light, Forward/Off/Reverse Speed Potentiometer, Rapid Pushbutton, Socket for Auto Travel. They have weight capacities from 1500 to 4000 lbs. SCR solid state controls, and are modular in design to allow for field upgradability. Other standard options available are capable of facilitating a totally automated carriage.

EZ LINK CONTROL

The EZ-Link Control is Pandjiris' new PLC based programmable sequence controller. The Control along with the EZ-Link Control pendant allows operators to have all automated equipment control functions in their hand. It controls the functions of the automated welding system, stores pre-programmed weld parameters, and coordinates the entire welding sequence. Programming and jogging functions are performed through a touch key pad located in the remote hand pendant. The controller programs weld travel speed, arc voltage, current and wire feed speed.

HEAD & TAIL STOCKS

Pandjiris Head and Tail Stocks are designed to withstand high production cycles yet are cost justifiable at low cycle rates. A variety of Head and Tail Stocks are available including standard units with customized fixturing: power elevation, pinned elevation, rail style, and rail car rotators. In addition, Head Stocks work well with idler rolls and/or outboard support stands for rotating and capturing large bulky parts.

GRIPPERS

Pandjiris patented grippers are designed for the welding industry. Weld splatter will not foil the action on these self-centering chucks. Easy to operate and quick mounting of various shaped parts up to 60" make Pandjiris Grippers real time savers.

TURNTABLES

Pandjiris turn tables have low profiles and provide rotation of parts on heavy steel plate tables varying in size from 24 inches in diameter up to spider arm styles 24 feet in diameter. Turning capacities are available for nearly every standard application up to 150 tons and special applications for heavier loads. Variable rotation speeds are standard and will vary by model with standard remote pendants housing the speed control and forward, reverse buttons. Special fixturing, mountings on powered cars for rail travel, various voltages, tachometers, Dialwelds -- Pandjiris patented device for automatic conversion from RPM to IPM, footswitches and numerous other options that make Pandjiris turn tables the ideal tool for inspection, painting, flame cutting, welding and much more.

SLIDES & SWIVELS

Slides manufactured by Pandjiris have extremely fluid motions with ample weight capacities. Pandjiris has two basic models, one with 1 inch round ways and the other with 1-1/2" round ways.
These quality slides compound nicely and are interchangeable as vertical or horizontal slides. Protective boots, various lengths and motorized slides are all available as standard options.
Pandjiris slides are considered by many to be the best quality slides on the market today because of their compactness, large weight capacities and smooth fluid movements.
